My name is Charlotte Targett. I am a Show Jumper based in Pongakawa Te Puke. I have been riding for 8 years and I am 18 years old. I competed on ponies until I was 15, then moved on to hacks in 2021. I have produced many ponies and several hacks. My goals are simple: to be the best I can be in my chosen sport and to have fun while doing so!

For the past five years I have been mentored and coached by two of New Zealand’s top Equestrian athletes, Oliver Croucher and Abby Lawrence. Their teachings have given me invaluable guidance to best understand all of my Mounts.

For optimum fitness and happiness I train my horses by alternating flat schooling, jumping and polework and farm hacks.

I am young, enthusiastic and passionate about the future of my sport.
